AOL was started with a meger of QuantumLink, a Commodore
online service, and AppleLink (not Mac developer version), an
Apple II online service. Until 1995, you could log onto AOL
with an Apple IIGS or Apple II software.
Many of us are still here, remnants of the days when Apple II
users made up the majority of AOL. Besides, there still
exists an Apple II Forum on AOL.
And Genie. And Delphi. And Compuserve (I think).
