I can vouch for the Apple High Speed SCSI card's speed.
When using my 1GB SCSI hard drive with it, access and
transfer is faster than off my slinky card. Reading from
the hard drive is faster, but WRITING to the hard drive is
MUCH faster than writing to the slinky card.
Of course it is important to remember that results such
as yours and mine are done with GS/OS in mind. The
Apple card slows down under ProDOS 8 and even the
RamFAST card does, although not as much.
