Some people, myself included, haven't had a problem using HD disks
formatted DD however I do know of cases where there have been problems.
The most memorable happened to a friend of mine that had 80% of the HD
disks formatted DD from a copy session become unreadable within 24 hours.
However that's an unusally high failure rate.
If the data is very important I'd hunt up some DD disks. New ones are a bit
hard to find but still around. Someone mentioned Walmart still has them.
