Re: Best way to make backups of 3.5" disks - copy prog?
Good advice... The other night, when I made something like 25 copies
of old GS disks onto new HD disks, the copies booted fine. This
morning--36 hours later or so, I went thru and booted 5 of the new
copies. ALL of them were corrupt--somewhere in the boot, they died. Amazing.
Anyway--I've got 100 Imation DS/DD disks on the way in the mail. I am
assuming that your below prediction (of HD disk failure) and not a
problem with my drive, is the culprit.
