Well, there is no way to remove the color sadly.  It is the
result of ultraviolet light causing a chemical reaction in
the plastic.  Luckily, the reaction only happens on the
surface layer of the plastic.  Take apart the IIGS and dunk
all the plastic parts into a tub full of water, chlorine bleach,
and detergent.  Allow the plastic parts to soak overnight
and then scrub them clean.  Rinse and allow to dry before
putting the IIGS back together.

This actually takes off the surface layer of plastic, so you
get a smooth possibly shiny platinum case rather than a
textured one.  But it looks better than a yellow stained
IIGS case.
