Here's a note for people who have ordered Y2K updates, perhaps as a result of
Joe Kohn's article, Washington Apple Pi's article, or from posts you've seen on
the web.
Since the release of TEXAS II on Disk vols.29 and 30, there have been even
_more_ Y2K updates released, due to newly discovered bugs. Two programs which
have seen newer updates are ProSel 8 and AppleWorks 5.1. If you updated these
programs earlier this year (say, around May or October), please check again to
see if you need to update more. TEXAS II subscribers should already have this
information. Non-subscribers might want to check to see if you need further
updating. Thanks to everyone for your support, especially to Chuck Newby, Joe
Kohn, Steven Nelson, and Ray Merlin. I can't believe we've finally made it
(almost).
Thanks, Happy New Year to everybody, and don't forget to back up sometime this
week. Why not, you do it anyway, don't you?
