Absolutely right, and that's why it was developed for the 65C02 only
(electronic dictionaries and translators). But, imagine you develop
a very cool Apple2/Atari/BBC/C64/Oric... software with it, then the people
who still run real computers won't always been able to run it (hey,
there are computers where the 65xx is soldered on the board).
I don't want the nice indirect addressing mode to be removed, I would
just like you could say -b6502 or -b65C02 in order to select the type
of output.

Sure, Dave MacWherter has produced something like 300kB of source
code, most of it has to be read... but hey, we can't have anything without
some effort... 8-)
