Well, hooking it up would be no real problem, it is simply a serial port
and ADB port passthrough (like early GV modems) however, it needs two
special drivers to work on the mac, drivers which do not currently exist
for the Apple IIgs (.IRTalk and another I can't remember)
Also, I hate to be negative, but the Airport is really junk, IMO. We got
one when we got our 5300 and were gretaly disappointed. Not only does the
IR port on the PB need to be directly in line with it (ok, so that part
makes sense) but it has a max range of...like...6 1/2 feet...totally took
the point away of trying to make a distance and not need cabling. If you
felt like setting the PB up next to it with the transmitter/receiver
pointed directly at it, though, that would work fine...someone just needs
to 'whip up' a driver for the IIgs...which I'm sure is no easy feat.
