Definitely, atalk printers are addressed through slot 7 in a Rom1. But I
vaguely remember there being a conflict with AW classic when a disk
controller was in slot 1. I can't imagine or recall what it could be. It
must have been in the usage of the reserved bytes in the unused display
map ($400-7ff). I don't know why atalk (s7) would use the slot reserved
bytes, but I can't of any other conflict possibilities. Hopefully I
mis-remembering some discussion ;-) I guess I just need to put a disk
controller in slot1 (maybe a Ramfactor) and try to break AW5.1. But I
like my setup as is, and I follow the adage 'if it ain't broke, don't
fix-it' .
