You can run a //c from a car battery. It works from 10..18V dc.

To operate a II, IIgs, you will need a separate regulator to generate
the +5V, -5V rails. You will also need -12V if you intend to use the
serial ports.

The only possibility to power the se from a battery is using an
inverter.


Be careful: you can operate the IIs form a car battery, but you should
not have a car connected to it! With the engine running, there are
transients up to 200V and voltage fluctuations from 9 to 15 V, this may
be dangerous for your computer.
If you want to charge the battery at home and use it on your boat or on
the camping site, this is no problem.
