downloading question

i need to download a large file (and possibly
other files) that is larger than a single
1.44 mb floppy.  my problem is: i only have
access to downloading on a public terminal
where we are denied the privilege of downloading
to a hard drive (only to the 1.44 mb floppy drive).
when i try to download a 3 mb file to a 1.44 mb
floppy drive, it will not let me insert a 2nd or
3rd floppy.

is there a method to download large files to
multiple 1.44 mb floppies?
