I have built a hybrid and I gotta question

Victory! I have a functional //e system composed of 2 busted //e's  (one 
literally looked like it came out of a chicken coop), and 1 Franklin.  
Question; and I know this is a wee bit off the main base...:  Anyone ever get 
a Franklin CP/M card to work in a //e?  If so, any pointers?  Mine 1/2 loads 
then hangs with D1 spinnin away...
Oh and btw; I DID get ProDOS 8 1 loaded on a floppy, but that's another tale
