There are video cards from other manufacturers which can do the job.  I have
used the IIgs monitor on a SuperMac card for a week or two.  It is generally
unplesant to view because fine, horizontal lines flicker a lot.  It is my
understanding that you can get flicker fixers to do that.

By the time you get the card and the flicker fixer, it is probably best to
keep your IIgs monitor on your IIgs.
