I've got the same drive, and hooked it up to my Apple IIGS (not
knowing any better ;-) ) and it worked flawlessley.... The only
problem with using it is as follows: The type of drive that the Laser
128 uses is slower than a GS's 5 1/4" (which I have as well) and the
Laser's disk drive has what I find annoying as hell - That stupid
adjustment on the bottom of the drive to set the speed... Beyond
that, the only thing else I can think of is like myself, you'll find
little use for the 5 1/4" once you convert any disk you have to 3
1/2", or after you finish converting files you downloaded from the net
to 5 1/4" so that you can copy them to 3 1/2" disk or a hard drive...
But at least in my case, the 5 1/4" drives are good for raising the 3
1/2" drives up a few inches to make them easier to get to ;-).
