I think you can boot off a GS/OS install floppy and install system software on
the Vulcan, but as I said you won't achieve optimal operational speeds without
the driver.

Without trying to dig through piles of boxes to find the manual, I'll tell you what
I think I remember. I think they are for setting the card to allow to boot from
Slot 7, even if it's installed in a different slot.
