I agree.  You know, the world is LONG overdue for the
next Commodore 64.  There is a niche for an appliance
computer that's sold for $99 or less.  I've often thought
an all-in-one IIGS unit with AppleWorks GS and some
other programs built in would be an excellent choice.
It should be buildable for that price with today's
fabrication technology.

GeoWorks was a dead OS (losing in an earlier OS war
with Windows) until the GeoBook brought it back as
an appliance computer OS.  The only problem with
the GeoBook is the price.  It is not quite a Commodore
64 since it is still a little too expensive.
