Tcl/Tk seems to be a reasonable project for the IIgs and Orca C.  You can
get the Orca C system from Mike Westerfield @www.byteworks.org. It may
not be cheap, but it's about the only C compiler you're likely to find and
it's
still supported by the author.

I believe the 8-bit II's would be too limited on resources.
