Hi Forrest,

There's no HFS->Prodos on-the-fly conversion in Bernie. That is mostly
due to very different implementation. Deja II is a high-level emulator
(relatively) and Bernie is a low-level emulator which means Bernie has
to deal with block level access and disk controller hardware as well.
(I do not know the internals of Deja II but that would be a reasonable
approach given its focus on AW.) Bernie is mostly tuned for GS/OS
where HFS support comes for free. You can drag &drop files from the
IIgs to the Mac and vice versa at will and share SCSI disks, though.
