There is a Java-based interpreter for ASCII animations.  I watched the
beginning of "Star Wars Episode IV" as an ASCII animation, and it was
pretty good.  <URL:http://www.asciimation.co.nz/> was the address; I
cannot connect to it right now.

BTW, are there any animations making use of user-programmable
characters � la Digital VT 220?
