Hi Mike, go to the following URL:

Then click on the Mac folder.  Inside is a binhexed DiskCopy
archive of a disk containing ShrinkIt! 8-bit and ShrinkIt! GS.

Your friend's Mac should be able to turn the DiskCopy image
back into a real ProDOS disk.

Take the disk to your IIGS.  Boot up a startup disk on the
IIGS.  Swap disk with the ShrinkIt! disk extracted from the
Mac.  Now you can run ShrinkIt! on the IIGS.

Next, I'll email you the System 5.0.4 disk in .shk format.
Your email program unattaches it and dumps it onto your
hard drive.  Move the .shk file to a PC floppy disk.  Give
that disk to your Mac friend.  Have him use PC Exchange
to move the .shk file to an 800k ProDOS formatted disk.

Take this disk to the IIGS, which now already has
ShrinkIt! running.  Select the .shk file.  Extract it to a
3.5" disk.

Now you can simply boot your newly extracted
System 5.0.4 disk.  I can also send you other disks this
way if you want.

The binhexed DiskCopy ShrinkIt! disk on ground is the
key that opens the door.  Good luck!

(As I said earlier, my System 5.0.4 disk can read and
write Mac 800k HFS disks, so subsequent transfers
are much easier since they do not involve PC Exchange
at all.)
