Your chart should read:
Windows 95 says 1KB = 1024
GS System says 1KB = 1024
Macintosh says 1KB = 1000
Kilo is only the prefix to tell you what to multiply the number by to
get the number of units. If you don't specify the units then no one
knows whether you are talking about apples or oranges.
So 2 of 3 are correct. There is no disputing the fact that 1 kilobyte
= 1 KB = 1024 bytes as that is what it was defined as when computers
were created.
