It is the problem with using ink.  One solution is to take
your ink jet original to a photocopier and make a copy to
use as a poor man's laser print.  ;-)

Seriously, I do this.  People think it is from a laser
printer.  They can feel the toner.  After all, photocopy
technology is where laser printers came from.

Of course this can get expensive over time, but for a
few documents now and then, it is a solution.
