When I recently added a SyQuest EZ135 drive to my IIgs system, I
daisy-chained it from my hard drive (the only other SCSI device on the
chain) start my IIgs, the RamFAST options screen popped up, I saw that
it was seeing the drive so I hit save, my machine booted and the HFS
formatted cartridge appearred in the Finder.
The important thing to note, though, is that my EZ135 drive came with
a SCSI terminator already on it so the end of my SCSI chain was
terminated. I didn't have a terminator on the chain before because my
hard drive was the only thing on the chain. Termination of the SCSI
chain is extremely important when you have more than one device on it.
