Ramfast help needed

Yes, I got lucky & acquired a ramfast. Hooked to an external 200 meg
drive, very nice!
But I have no manual & so no idea how to use the utilities.

I wanted to chain a zip drive to this setup.  {Ramfast in slot 7 set to
yourcard}

The Zip is has ID set to 5 , but it doesn't'show up in the finder.
{The disk is formatted OK  as HFS & shows up fine on another machine w/
apple SCSI card}

Do I need to do something special? When I run the Ramfast program, the
drive doesn't show up until I pick the SCSI utilies from the ramfast menu;
then my external drive shows as ID 6 and the zip as ID5. If I highlight
the zip. I get another menu, presumably to partition it -- but I can type
in a partition name & shouldn't have to anyway.  When I select partion
w/out giving a name I get "Ramfast SCSI fatal error"

I am sure there is something simple to do this that I just don't know about.
A walk-though of the sets would certainly be appreciated!
