Well for one thing some folks don't like to deal on that
newsgroup. I just bought up the serial port possibility
because I've been in email contact with Michael about
upgrade of his IIGS and I get the impression that he'd
like to see the printing system working before
tweaking it for optimum performance. It looks like he
could use his ImageWriter II cable with the 4MP's
serial card too.

Sure, that's not a problem (it should be pretty obvious
though since parallel by definition has more data lines
than serial).
