Sure he can.

But, with Apple II Parallel cards going on csa2.marketplace for as little as
$10, why bother?

If you (SuperTimer) continue to advise folks about connecting an HP printer
to the IIGS serial port, could you at least add the disclaimer when you next
do so that it's very, very, very slow and that using a parallel connection
is four times faster?
