I don't even think Set Date reads the clock. I use it to set the date in my
clockless //c. It merely sets the date in ProDos's memory. It probably doesn't
touch the clock.

By the way, I am not the author of ProSel, nor do I own it in any way. I am
good friends with the former product manager, and together we worked out the
Y2K solutions before it went PD. The original author of ProSel is probably the
most revered programmer in all Apple II-dom. His products are absolutely solid
and reliable. I am merely a dabbler who knows how to BNE when it says to BEQ.
Comes in handy from time to time.
