Hi Gus, there's a lithium battery in the SmartWatch/NSC that's
supposed to last for more than a decade.  I actually have a
digital wristwatch that uses a lithium battery and I can say that
these batteries DO last that long.

If your battery is dead, that means your SmartWatch has been
sitting on the shelf for many years (and that means you should
be able to get a replacement from the store for a defective
product).
