Hi Ed,

What protocol are you using?  I've had lots of problems with YModem, ZModem,
Kermit, etc.  The only success I found has been with "1K Xmodem".  I set my
HyperTerminal settings to 4800 8-N-1 and the transfer between my computer
(Toshiba) and the Apple works fine.  The communication program that I use on
the Apple is a freeware called Comm System 2.5.  I just finished testing a
transfer from the Apple to the PC and it worked.

You may want to check the protocol.  If it still doesn't work, you may want
to check the cables.
