Hi, I can't do this for you (no 5.25" drive), but if they charge you
too much for the service, hop over to http://www.sequential.com/
Sequential Systems and check out CrossWorks.

CrossWorks is nicer than null-modem because it'll transfer and
TRANSLATE your documents so that formatting will stay intact.

I know that sometimes part of poetry is formatting, so this might
be important.
