That's the myth I long believed. However both the tubes in both my
AppleColor RGB monitors have a label clearly stating that they are from
Mitsubishi.  Trinitron is very much a Sony product.  Would be interesting
but not essential or even particularly useful if someone could
diffinitively clear this up.
