What is this IIgs stuff . . .

I have a couple of cards in a new IIgs which I just picked up which I can not
identify.  One of them is a quicky controller, which was originally in Slot 2
and has a IIgs style serial connector on it, and the second has the following
text on it:

HYORWIIGS
1988 Roger Wagner Publishing Inc.

It is not really an expansion card, as it draws its power from the fan
connector, and hangs off the back of the case.  It also connects to the
motherboard in the front, right-hand corner, and has a similar connector
on the top of the board.

Anyway, any help would be appreciated,
