"Dial Up Networking" for Apple Question

Hi,

I'm a PC user (pause for boos) and of course that entails the use of Windows
98.  Anyway, I know how to set up a Dial-Up Networking within Windows but I
unfortunately have no clue how to do it on an Apple OS.  I need to set up a
connection on a G2 running OS 8 (I think that's the newest one).  Could you
possibly help?  I've been playing around with it and I've been unable to do
anything productive.  I would really appreciate it!

I'm sorry for the blatant display of Apple ignorance...I've been trying to
learn!
