Alltech might not be the cheapest place to get a IIGS
system, but they recondition things and also more
importantly, they build peripherals for the Apple II
series.  You can get a hard drive equipped and a
sufficient amount of memory for the IIGS at a reasonable
price here.  They are also legitimate as practically
any Apple II user who has used them will tell you.
