Re: Copyright laws

Bev wrote two comments which I'd like to reply on:

"Well, to put it a lot more politely than I did to the beleaguered Mr. Turley,"

........... and then this.......

"(although I am leaving real soon for a long time). ;-)"

And, I reply: Well, the beleagued Mr. Turley rectified that matter. But,
nobody bothered to mention that - did they???

And Bev, about your leaving real soon for a long time, well, -> ME TOO!!! I'm
moving to the country to get ready for the REAL WORLD - Y2K problems. With the
removal of the Tarnover ftp and website, the battles over Asimov and so many
other issues of debate, arguments, conflicts and attitudes expressed on this
newsgroup lately, I've lost all interest and desires with any more efforts in
the Apple II community.

There comes a time when a person reaches the end of the line with it all. I've
read it all, thought about it all and I've simply come to the point where I
HAVE MOST DEFINITELY reached the end of the line with it all. The Apple II
community is tearing itself apart rapidly and I no longer want to be labeled as
being a part of it or watching it continue to happen. I can't do anything to
help with solving any of the problems, so there's no point in continuing with
trying. Perhaps this is the only thing I can do to help. So, I'm doing it.

Effective Sept.99 - I'll be turning over any and all continued activities with
online publications, etc. related to the Apple II and IIgs on my grin.net
website to MacProber and Rubywand.

Cheers & Best Wishes to All,
Tom
