Help!! My IIe is crashing!!

Whenever I turn on my IIe and monitor, it displays normal and inverse
characters and all sorts of gibberish all over the screen.  But, amongst the
gibberish, I can pick out the actual words that should be on the screen when
it starts:
Apple //e
So, I think this must be a videocard problem or something because I can make
out the words that are supposed to be there, along with the stuff that is
not.
