Hi Mark,
Using your Mac try downloading the Shrink II archives with Fetch or some 
other ftp program that you desire using from the following URL's;

ftp://209.180.253.179/cabi/GS.Emulators/Misc.Mac.Stuff/ShrinkII.image

ftp://209.180.253.179/cabi/GS.Emulators/Misc.Mac.Stuff/ShrinkII.sit

The first archive is in DiskCopy - disk image format (which you probably don't
want
to deal with for your specific needs).

The second archive is a standard StuffIt sit archive, you would use StuffIt
Expander to
unstuff it.  Then the Shrink II program on your Mac will allow you to unshrink
Shrinkit archives to an 800k ProDOS disk for your needs with the IIgs' you are
trying to get working for your school needs.

The system 5.04 is also on the same ftp site and you can download it from the
URL noted below:

ftp://209.180.253.179/cabi/System/SYS504SDK.bin

Don't let the .bin at the end of the URL above confuse you.  It's there for
people using
the PC platform for ease of their non-corrupt download needs.  Just remove the
.bin from the archive after you download it and use Shrink II to unshrink it to
a ProDOS 800k 3.5" disk that you've already formatted as such via your Mac.  
That should give you a boot disk of GS/OS 5.0.4 to use with your schools IIgs'.
