Thank you for re-posting this and giving me the opportunity to clarify.  When I
posted this I was 'sure'
because I do not remember being contacted by Ryan. I checked my email sent
folder and found no
emails addressed to him. Ryan contacted me asap for clarification as he had me
in his DB as having
given blanket permission. When he started The Lamp he asked for permissions by
posting a question-
aire on delphi. It is POSSIBLE that I saw this call for permission and sent him
a note. Not having it in
my email sent folder could be a clerical error on my part. In anycase I have
REASONABLE DOUBT
that my original article that you have reposted is correct. I send many, many
emails each day and
The Lamp was started a couple of years ago. I apologize to you and the group for
 the confusion. My
sincerest apologies to Ryan for any grief I may have caused him or The Lamp.

I think it shows the vitality of the A2 community that more than one event can
exist simultaneously.
