Indeed.  Mine was in a suburb of Seattle and I wore jeans and jandals (umm
... I don't know what you call them in the US .. flip-flops? Thongs?). 
I'd have wanted a *lot* more in NYC or San Francisco or the like.

The good thins about it is that 1) you don't stay one place long enough to
get bored, 2) you make enough that you can work on what you *really* want
to do in between contracts.
