There are some programs like that. Some are commercial (I think) while others
are shareware (some years ago I helped beta test one written by a poster to
this newsgroup). It identified the CPU type (6502/65c02/R65c02/65802/65816) &
speed, main & aux ram banks, smartports and attached devices, common serial
parallel and other cards.
