This is kind of sad.  AOL was originally built on Apple II users.  In
1995, AOL cut off Apple II support.  You can no longer sign on with
Apple II AOL.  Ironically, you still can sign on with PC GeoWorks
AOL, which has a feature set similar to Apple II AOL.  However, the
Apple II AOL Forum continues to exist.

If you can get on AOL with another computer (even from an Apple II
with a PC Transporter running GeoWorks ;-) you can access the
Apple II AOL Forum and shed a tear or two for what was lost (yet
still available).
