Is the exact length of the file the same on your IIc+ as on your PC?

     Try this:

Go to ftp://24.96.48.134:6502/Cabi_Archives/Applications/ and download the file
SelectorSTARTUP.shk .

Check the downloaded file's length (Right-click on the file, click Properties, and
read the Length number in parentheses.) It should be 1486 bytes.

Transfer the file to your IIc+ and check the length of the file on your IIc+. What
is the length? If it is not 1486 bytes, something bombed during the transfer.

If it is 1486 bytes, the transfer is probably okay.

If the ProDOS disk you use for downloading, etc. does not have a folder (name
doesn't matter), create one.

Unshrink the file to some folder on a ProDOS diskette. (The file will be named
"Startup"; so, you do not want to unshrink it to the main directory of your ProDOS
disk-- it may already have a Startup.)

Do you end up with a good BASIC file named "STARTUP".
