As I recall there were 3 versions to download. I assume you were trying to
download a version that requires a password and it wasn't on that machine.
If that's not it maybe some one on a Mac newsgroup can help you, this
newsgroup is for Apple II computers for which there is no version of
Quicktime available at present.
