An Apple 16k language card would not have included Integer BASIC on it. The
Language card was originally designed for use with the UCSD Pascal programming
environment.
Softswitches are used to switch between the on-board ROM set and Ramcard.
Apple's DOS 3.3 System Master disk would automatically load either an Integer
or Applesoft BASIC code into the Ramcard (whichever one is not on the
motherboard).
ProDOS does not load up the other (generally Integer) BASIC since its code
resides in the LanguageCard.
