I believe Jay mentioned AppleWorks, and that does need to write date info back
to disk. He can patch it so it doesn't. The ROM disk patch for AW 3.0 can be
found on the Beagle Bros AW 3.0 Companion or Companion Plus, which were
recently released as freeware by the author.
