An Apple II programmer that brought us programs like SwatterDisk,
ShortExtras, KillDaWhoosh, the latest version of Twilight II, some NDA
games, SegFaulter (for programmers) and GUPP (Grand Unified Patch
Program) that fixed a number of bugs in GS/OS, GNO/ME and several
programs.
He also used to be the official keeper of the comp.sys.apple2 FAQ and
he did a wonderful job of keeping it updated. He also added a number
of other help files that he wrote himself that were very informative.
Unfortunately a lot of people here dislike him because he started to
be less than polite to people making off-topic posts and to people
that have been known to illegally distribute Apple II software. I
wish he could have been more polite but I can understand his
frustration. After years of telling people to stop posting about
other computers or to stop "pirating" software and having hardly
anyone listen, it can really get to you.
That's why I don't bother chasing these same people myself. I'd like
to maintain my sanity. :)
