There is a private newsgroup devoted to AppleWorks 5.1 (and other topics).
Recent messages include news about new products and updates, and about using
AppleWorks with emulators, such as Bernie or Deja ][. Discussion topics cover
the entire Apple II range, not just AppleWorks. We have about 150 members;
messages come to your mailbox daily.

We have been known to find ways of getting AppleWorks 5.1 for serious
AppleWorks users.

If you have a IIe, you should have extra memory (256k - 1 meg is better), a
3.5" disk drive, and preferably a hard drive, to use AppleWorks 5.1. If you
don't have all of these, an earlier version, such as AppleWorks 3.0, is better.

A list of AppleWorks 5.1 improvements over 3.0 used to be posted on our web
site, but it has now been taken down. If I can dig it up I will post it here.
