You want it at the end. Since the HS SCSI has its own termination in the
form of resistors just like hard disk terminator blocks, you don't need
a terminator at the beginning of the chain. The old SCSI cards don't have
their own so ostensibly you need one there too. Having termination in the
"right" plaaces isn't as crucial as people try to make you think. It's not
a bad idea to follow the rules but you won't zap anything. The other day I
put an external hard disk on one of the Macs sitting around and some time
later I noticed that I forgot a terminator. Only by seeing it without one
did I notice. It worked the same either way.
