If C9 stands for CMP (immediate), as it takes one parameter (the value
CC), then the next byte is a BRK which generally goes to the monitor
unless a BRK vector is installed, I would have changed 00 with 60
(RTS)

If C9 is part of a C string, then C9 CC means IL and I cannot help :-)

I don't know the game, never played it nor downloaded the image.but I
assume it is a 8-bit software. And I hope the computist article refers
to the same version as Bugman owns.
