Well.....my windows machine is far more bloated than my Linux machine
was.  I run Apache web server (stable), and War FTP daemon (buggy,
BETA, but free).  Basically power management is my problem.  It seems
to me as though my drives are spooling down...and war is trying to
write to it's log file...but crashes the system before the drives
spool back up.  On my Linux box.....this worked fine.
